Refund Policy

1. Subscription billing
Abigail is billed as a recurring subscription through Stripe. There is no free trial by default. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the next billing period.
Your checkout page shows the subscription price and billing interval before payment is completed. Taxes may apply depending on your location and Stripe settings.
2. Cancellations
You can cancel or manage your subscription through the Stripe billing portal from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals, but access may remain available until the end of the paid billing period.
If you cannot access the billing portal, contact support from the email address used for your account so we can help locate the Stripe subscription.
3. Refunds
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law or where we approve a refund at our discretion for a billing error or service failure.
Approved refunds are processed back through Stripe to the original payment method when possible. A refund does not automatically cancel future renewals unless the subscription is also canceled.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry the payment and your subscription status may change. Access to the private chat can be paused until payment is resolved.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened, we may pause or cancel access while the dispute is reviewed.
